Anthropology of Peace & Human Rights

This is a companion course to ANTH 504, designed for first-year Masters students. Both courses explore the central themes of the MA program, including peace systems, human rights, social justice, and global ecological and sociopolitical interdependence. In the second semester, in ANTH 505, the central themes of the anthropology of peace and human rights are explored through a critical examination of comparative and theoretical literature. ANTH 508.
