Art History Survey III

Survey III, and illustrated lecture course, introduces students to art in the Western tradition from 1800 to the present. Students will learn the chronology and development of art in a period that has seen the almost complete overthrow of artistic tradition, the expanding definition of art, and the extension of the art world's borders beyond Europe and North America.
