Contemporary Acting Styles

This course will provide an in-depth exploration of contemporary acting styles and contemporary theatrical works. We will track the development of theatrical styles and trends through realism, naturalism, expressionism, epic theatre, theatre of the absurd, and eclectic theatre to understand how contemporary methods draw and diverge from previous periods in theatre history.
