A study of the fundamental environmental laws and regulations of the United States. Primary emphasis will be on the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and how these relate to the teaching of secondary school chemistry.
