This course covers the fundamentals of power electronics such as principles of static power conversions, basic power converter architectures, power semiconductor switches, steady-state equivalent circuit modeling, DC transformer model, basic AC equivalent circuit modeling, linearization, and perturbation. Pulse width modulation and controller design, circuit design considerations, and applications of power electronics.
