Practicum in Area of Specialty

Supervised observation and teaching of students with disabilities in K-6 and/or 6-12 special education environments. Emphasis on applied field experiences and demonstrations of learning through professional dispositions, assessment of student functioning, lesson planning, specialized instruction, evidence-based practices, positive behavior intervention, progress monitoring, and collaborations with colleagues and parents. Must have advisor approval.
