This course provides an introduction to the sensors and instrumentation commonly encountered in contemporary engineering environments. Topics include instrumentation used to measure physical, mechanical, electrical, and/or chemical properties as well as the acquisition and transmission of measured data. Laboratory sessions will provide students with experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting instrumentation.
