Health and Place

This course illustrates how geographic concepts help us better understand health and well-being, through the exploration of theories, methodologies, and contributions of medical geography to the social and health sciences. Using spatial tools, such as mapping and Geographic Information Systems, this course will examine the geographical patterns of health and disease.
