Topics in Native American History

Students will study a selected topic within Native American history highlighting cultural and historical developments, their political relationships with colonial empires and the United States, and their efforts in tribal sovereignty. Topics may include (but are not limited to): the Native American South, the Trail of Tears, and Tribal Recognition in Modern America. Course may be repeated for credit as different topics are offered.
