Introduction to Interdisciplinary Studies

This course introduces students to UNA's Interdisciplinary Studies program and guides them through proposing an individualized program of study. Students are introduced to terms, concepts, and methods central to interdisciplinary inquiry. Students examine the strengths and weaknesses of both disciplinary and interdisciplinary thinking and learn to identify topics appropriate for interdisciplinary research.
