HUMAN FACTORS ENGINEERING

Human Factors Engineering is the science of designing products and systems for optimal human well-being and system performance. This course will focus on information processing and the cognitive aspects of ergonomics design. Students will gain insight into the effects of various environments (hot, cold, noise, information overload, etc.) on humans and human performance. Physical ergonomics will be addressed somewhat as well.
