Introduction to Instructional & Performance Technology

This course introduces the professional field and profession of instructional technology. It provides a sense of history, an explanation of how general systems theory, human performance technology and instructional design are intertwined with emphasis on the evolution of the major themes and movements in the field while exploring possible career paths and technology tools.
