Intermediate Algebra

Principles and techniques of elementary algebra; products, factors, and quotients of polynomials; operations with rational expressions; ratio and proportion; rectangular coordinate system; systems of equations and inequalities; roots and radicals; second-degree equations; the quadratic formula. Some sections of MA 100 will be accompanied by a one-hour lab which provides supplementary instruction. Not open to students with credit in MA 100E.
