Foundations of Mathematics
University of North Alabama
This course provides a transition to higher mathematics with strong emphasis on proof writing skills. Topics include propositional logic, methods of proof, sets, functions, relations, and elementary number theory. Students will be required to learn and use the mathematical typesetting language LaTeX.
