Identification of plants and animals is important for assessing environmental impacts and gauging restoration success. In this course, students will learn to identify plants and animals in coastal Alabama. Students will perform biodiversity assessments and calculate spatial distribution of organisms. When complete, students will be able to perform routine environmental assessments in Alabama.
