Advances in marine ecology and oceanography are dependent on the ability of researchers to design effective and robust experiments to test hypothesis. Understanding the power, limitations and potential biological and statistical artifacts are critical to achieving this goal. The course focuses on fundamental concepts in the design and analysis of experiments in marine sciences, ecology and fisheries.
