Survey of Music Technology

This course addresses the broad topic of technology as it pertains to the study, teaching, and performance of music. This includes consideration of cross-disciplinary computer hardware and software, digital video and audio equipment and software, electronic sound equipment, MIDI concepts and related software programs, music-engraving software, as well as historical considerations in the development of technology for the teaching/learning process.
