Pathophysiology for the Healthcare Professional

The course integrates anatomical and physiological concepts in examining alterations in human structure and function. Major pathophysiological concepts of common health problems are discussed using a body systems approach applying theories related to etiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and terminology. It is strongly encouraged that this class be taken the semester you apply to your program (Nursing, OTA, etc.).
