A didactic course that examines healthcare quality improvement (QI) to prepare nurses to engage in QI in healthcare settings and to develop leadership in improving care for all settings and populations. The course begins with an overview of current healthcare quality, to include but not limited to current national efforts toward quality care and health informatics technology.
