Emergency Management

This course offers a comprehensive introduction to various types of environmental and public health disasters, their consequences, the roles played by different public agencies and practitioners in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from these disasters. Through our course readings, discussions, and other assignments, students will learn about and develop understanding around how the public sector manages disaster from preparedness to recovery.
