Research Methods in Psychology

Overview of specific research methods such as correlational, quasiexperimental, and experimental methods. Students will design and conduct research. As such it includes a strong emphasis on quantitative analysis and questions of ethics and civic responsibility. This course also provides practical knowledge of the scientific methodology such as problem definition, hypothesis formation, measurement, causal inference, validity, and reliability.
