Anishinaabemtaage
Bay Mills Community College
This program is designed to encourage and further promote the preservation of Anishinaabemowin. Anishinaabe language learners will be in classes with fluent speakers – Anishinaabemtaagewag, and fellow learners to develop their speaking skills. The students in this program will be assessed to determine their level of Anishinaabemtage or speaking proficiency up to the Intermediate-High level using the American Council of Teachers of Foreign Languages proficiency scale.
