The interdisciplinary program leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomolecular Sciences is delivered by faculty members drawn from the Departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Biochemistry, and Physics. This degree requires completion of a prescribed course of study, satisfactory performance on preliminary and comprehensive examinations, and completion of a dissertation representing an original and significant research contribution in the biomolecular sciences.
