The chemical industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States. The need for trained technicians in quality control, analysis, and research and development laboratories is extensive. The two-year Chemical Technology certificate program prepares graduates to enter the chemical field in any one of a variety of capacities – chemical research technician, laboratory assistant, chemical production technician, junior chemist or analytical technician.
