Make a difference in the lives of others in one semester with an exciting career as a Community Health Worker—a new role in healthcare. A Community Health Worker (CHW) is a frontline public health worker who is a trusted member of and/or has an unusually close understanding of the community served. Lake Area Tech offers students the opportunity to complete the online Community Health Worker certificate in an 8 week, 12 credit course of study.
