The High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) 5.09 is competency based and serves the adult learner 18 1/2 years or older. This program is designed to award a high school equivalency diploma through the 5.09 option to those individuals who master the required competencies. The competencies are covered through a series of courses and are assessed through a variety of means. This is an alternative to traditional GED testing. ADMISSION TO DO’S • Attend an orientation session.
