This broad major intends to orient students to psychology as a whole. Students learn about the science of mind and behavior, individual and group behavior, the physical and environmental bases of behavior, and the analysis and treatment of behavior problems and disorders. The program instructs students in psychological principles and methods and offers the background needed to prepare for careers in fields as diverse as medicine, law, business, education, and human resources.
