The Master of Arts degree in Counseling is a 60 credit hour planned program of study designed to meet the necessary competencies of professional counselors and satisfies the curricular requirements for counselor licensure in the state of West Virginia. There are currently two distinct Areas of Emphasis offered within the Counseling program: clinical mental health counseling and school counseling.
