Marshall University
The mission of the Marshall University School of Music is to cultivate excellence in musical artistry, elevate cultural experiences on campus and in the community, and advance development and growth. The music program offers areas of emphasis within the Master of Arts degree which require 32 to 36 hours: Applied Music Performance, Jazz Studies, Music Composition, Music Education, and Music History and Literature. An emphasis is required to complete the degree.
