Solar Photovoltaic Technician

The Solar Photovoltaic program combines lecture and hands on training to provide the skills necessary to install solar PV systems. Graduates will develop an understanding of where PV systems started, where they are now and where they will be in the future. Under minimal supervision graduates must be able to define the solar resource and complete a site assessment. They must also develop a comfort level with the capabilities, limitations, and basic construction of all major PV system pieces.
