An operator license allows a person to offer certain gambling activities to the public such as: bingo, card games, keno, sports pools, sports tabs, and video gambling machines (a permit may also be required from the department). [Reference MCA 23-5-177 ]One must also obtain an appropriate alcoholic beverage license in order to operate card games, sports pools, sports tabs, and video gambling machines.
