This interdisciplinary major requires 36 hours of major courses drawn from a minimum of eighteen hours each in any two of three course groups: Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Social Sciences, and Religion and Humanities. Students also complete four hours of other required courses, 18 hours of minor courses/electives, and 15 hours of electives in addition to General Education. The program develops critical thinking and an appreciation for how disciplines connect.
