The American Indian Studies program was designed in collaboration with the Coeur d'Alene Tribe and examines the contemporary and ancient experiences and ways of life of the first peoples of North America from their perspective. The curriculum is designed to provide a study of American Indians from a holistic and humanistic viewpoint by focusing on their cultural, historical, and contemporary life.
