This 60-credit Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree prepares graduates for a career in medical coding with comprehensive training. The NTC Medical Coding programs use the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) curriculum to provide training to prepare the student to take the AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam using nationally recognized coding systems to classify procedures and diagnoses related to medical treatment.
