Anthropology is the study of the complexity and diversity of humanity and the human experience--past and present--in its biological, ecological and cultural contexts. Students in anthropology learn how to collect and analyze information from field research and how to apply it to address contemporary human problems. Anthropology prepares students for career paths in research, business, teaching, public service, cultural resource management, and other fields.
