The B.S. in Middle Grades Education (MGE) program develops and trains middle grades educators equipped to teach 4th through 8th grades who demonstrate the knowledge, skills, professional dispositions, and Christian attitudes associated with being an effective teacher. Students progress from General Education courses and Foundational Education courses into the Teacher Education Program (TEP), which includes three terms of teacher education courses with field experiences.
