The Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T) degree in Spanish has a threefold purpose. It is designed to help students: increase proficiency in the language; understand the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world; and, meet the requirements for completion of the bachelor's degree in the CSU or UC systems. Students who complete the Spanish AA-T will have a solid foundation in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending Spanish.
