The Certificate of Achievement in Child Development: Associate Teacher prepares students to provide developmentally appropriate curriculum and environments in early care and education programs and to supervise Assistant Teachers. Students are introduced to early education philosophies and strategies that support their understanding and application of developmentally appropriate practices for working with young children and their families in a diverse society.
