The registered nurse (RN) provides patient care due to illness or desire to maintain health. The RN scope of practice is defined by the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. RNs practice nursing in a wide range of settings including hospitals, schools, work sites, and patient's homes. Multiple advanced degrees are offered at various universities. The program is designed to be completed in five semesters. It is a daytime program, with primarily face-to-face classes.
