Widespread environmental problems and a growing recognition of the importance of sustainable solutions has resulted in an increased demand for environmental managers. An A.A.S. in Environmental Studies at SUNY Cobleskill is a platform for students to learn how to identify and respond to key issues in ecosystem management and conservation. The courses in the major explore natural resource conservation, soil and water conservation, forest ecology, geographic information systems, and entomology.
