An Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education prepares students to become competent early childhood educators that are interested in working in a paraprofessional role with young children and families. The degree is designed for transferring to a university to complete a 4-year degree program, although graduates can also go directly into an early childhood employment setting. Students gain specialized knowledge and implement best practices in early childhood education.
