The Associate of Art in Geographic Information Science is designed to prepare graduates who are well- trained, critical and independent thinkers, and technically proficient in the basic principles of geographic information science. Students completing this program are prepared to transfer to a wide range of bachelor’s degree programs including geography, natural resources, environmental science, geology, agriculture, economics, civil/environmental engineering, GIS, among others.
