Environmental Engineering
University of Toledo
The National Academy of Engineering identified 14 critical challenges for engineers in the 21st century. Six of them are directly related to the environment. Labs and design projects teach UToledo’s Environmental Engineering majors how to solve real problems and implement their ideas. Students often work with community partners such as schools and inner-city housing projects to develop rain gardens and other green projects.
