The purpose of the Associate of Religious Studies Degree program is to provide an opportunity for students to acquire a basic understanding in interpreting and applying the Holy Scriptures, and to prepare them for studies at liberal arts educational institutions. Students develop a working knowledge of the Holy Scriptures for teaching in informal settings and prepare to continue studies toward the Bachelor of Religious Studies.
