The Master of Arts in Biotechnology provides instruction in the broad field of biotechnology along with specialized training in current concepts and technological advances. Suitable for students who do not need a research-based degree, it is interdisciplinary and flexible, built on a two-semester core sequence plus electives and graduate teaching experience, with a written and/or oral comprehensive examination in place of a thesis.
