Creative Writing

The Master of Fine Arts in creative writing is a three-year academic/studio program that combines an apprenticeship to the craft with more traditionally academic elements. The M.F.A. is both an academic and a professional degree that allows students to prepare for careers in teaching or professional writing/editing. The objective is to nurture and mentor writers, producing writers who will publish literature and contribute to the culture.
