The M.S.E. is a college-wide undesignated program that complements the designated master's programs in each of the individual engineering discipline majors, namely aerospace, chemical, civil, electrical, industrial, materials science, mechanical, mining, and petroleum and natural gas engineering. Students may structure a unique master's degree that crosses disciplines, and it is advised for students whose baccalaureate degree is in a field of engineering different from the M.S.
