The Health Services and Outcomes Research program emphasizes population-based, health services delivery and outcomes, and policy research. Health services research examines how people get access to health care, how much care costs, and what happens to patients as a result of this care. The focus is to prepare highly qualified graduate students for careers in academia, industry, government, and institutional settings through training in health outcomes and policy research.
