Occupational Therapy

The Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) is an entry-level master's degree program; WVU accepted its first students into the professional program in the fall semester of 1996. Occupational therapy is the only profession that helps people across the lifespan to do the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of meaningful daily activities (occupations). The curriculum is fixed and intense, beginning in the summer with basic science coursework relevant to the profession.
