Pathologists' Assistant

A pathologists' assistant is a healthcare professional qualified through academic and practical training to provide services in anatomic pathology under the direction of a qualified pathologist. This is a twenty-four month, full-time, master's-level program that begins each January. The first year is mostly didactic learning with introductory gross room rotations. During the second year, students receive practical experience through clinical rotations in both surgical and autopsy pathology.
